Iphone3G1

So most of you already know quite a bit about the iPhone in general and all of its main features. Today I will be talking about the new iPhone 3G. It is the same exact phone as the regular version of the iPhone, but the 3G technology gives the iPhone fast access to the internet and email over cellular networks around the world. With this speed upgrade to the iPhone you can now multitask more than ever by surfing the web while your on call which could be very useful if a buddy called you and needed to know how to get somewhere and you could just pop on the internet quick and get on Google Maps and tell him exactly where to go. The other neat feature to the iPhone 3G is that if your somewhere where there is no 3G Network for you to connect to(very unlikely) your iPhone connects you via GSM for calls and EDGE for data.

The next thing I would like to go over that is already known by the iPhone, but is what makes the iPhone really unique from other phones. This would be the iPhone’s Multi-Touch Control. This lets you, instead of using buttons on the phone, to touch the screen to get you around the different features the iPhone 3G has in store for you. The Multi-Touch display layers a protective shield over a capacitive panel that senses your touch using electrical fields. It then transmits that information to the LCD screen below it. And the iPhone software enables the flick, tap, and pinch. Now I am not going to do a full blown review over every single feature that the iPhone 3G has, but to sum it all up the iPhone 3G can also do these great things: talk on the phone(of course), listen to music on iTunes, use Maps & GPS, SMS texting feature, plan events in your Calendar, watch videos on Youtube, take and store photos, read/watch Stocks, Weather, and Notes, and also for those times when you need something to calculate your bills, or even groceries you can use the Calculator which can come in handy at times. So what are you waiting for, go out and get yourself a iPhone 3G! For more information on the iPhone 3G please visit http://www.apple.com/iphone/. You can also pre-order it online.
