I’m not gonna lie, I don’t really buy into the whole facebook craze. Sure it’s great to keep in touch with friends, or maybe get in touch with old friends. But let’s face it, I pretty much just use it to get pictures. I find that with facebook, you’re either completely hooked and on it 24/7, or you pretty much only check it once a blue moon. What I really don’t get is the applications, but apparently, from what I’ve observed there does seem to be some good ones out there.

Take for example “where I’ve been”, you’ve got to admit it is pretty cool to be able to see where all your friends have been, where they’re going etc. I mean who nows you may just be headed in the same direction. ILike isn’t bad either, I mean who knew you and mr.shy guy had so many things in common. This could lead to a perfect conversation started, and perhaps a first date…*cough*…awkward… Another good one is Flog Blog, it allows your friends to read your blog posts directly from your profile page, not to mention the fact that any update you make will show up on your news feed, genius no?

Bottom line, I guess facebook isn’t all bad and it does have some niceties if you take the time to look for them. But in the meantime, what’s up with the zombies, pirates, slayers and werewolves invitations?
