As season four of LOST fast approaches and the slow build up of hype is at an all time high, every LOST fan’s mind is filled with the wonder of a five-year-old at Disneyland. If you’re anything like me, you’ll have a dozen theories flying around your head but you don’t want any of them to be true, just in case it ruins the surprise. If you haven’t kept up to date on what happened in season three, then do not fear! I am here to go through what happened at the end of the last series, and what (in my opinion) could happen in the next.

So, Charlie died to save the island….What will be the reactions of those near and dear to him? LOST writer Damon Lindelof has commented that Desmond will face a lot of guilt surrounding Charlie’s death in season four. After all, he was directly linked. But is Charlie really dead? YES! There are no silly twists in the plot here, and in a Damon Lindelof interview, it is revealed that Charlie dies as a terrific act of heroism.
The flash-forward with Jack and Kate talking about someone’s funeral was a little disconcerting, and not only because of the facial hair. We know that the deceased is neither a friend nor family of Jack, and Kate as no particular reason to go to the funeral either. Could it be Ben? Saying that, it could be any one of the Others.

Then there’s the issue of the latest Season 4 Promo…It has been uploaded onto youtube in slow motion so you can catch Christian Shepherd at 1:03 sitting in Jacob’s cabin and the blue number 6 at 1:06. What does it all mean? I have no idea! But I do know it’s ridiculously exciting. For many people, this appearance of Jack’s father in Jacob’s cabin certifies that he is, in fact, Jacob. I’d love to know why. Anyone care to tell me?

Either way there’s only FIVE days to go!!
