Want to save your cell phone battery life? Use these few simple tips and tricks to keep the juice running a long time.
- Decrease your phones screen brightness to about 30-50 percent. You will still be able to see well. If there is direct sunlight, find shade. You won’t be able to see anything anyhow.
- Lower the main backlight duration settings. For the screen and/or keypad.
- Don’t let your battery drain. Avoid over charging as well. Try not to charge it in your car, on the go. Charge it 2 to 3 hours before you sleep, when it finishes, unplug and turn off till morning. So you have a fresh start in the morning and your battery don’t go to waste while being in standby while you sleep.
- Turn off all unnecessary crap! Infrared,
- Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and uncheck "Receive all incoming beams." Some apply only if you have a Pocket PC or Smartphone.
- Disable unnecessary sounds. SMS Alert, Email Alert, etc.
- Use vibrate ONLY when you need to.
